About dating, aging and being past the expiration date (and being a cougar, a seasoned and experienced cougar)

From what I hear construction workers will stop whistling at you and guys will stop turning their heads when you are past your thirties. It surprises me, since research says women feel most sexy when we're 34, something I can affirm. I seriously never felt more beautiful, sexy & attractive than when I was thirty-four. Now if only I could turn back time.

* Yet we expire when we turn thirty? Cougars not of course, us cougars don't expire, we don't even age you know.

In fact, turning forty was even better. It is said that women peak when we reach forty and goddess, did I peak. I was accused of being a nymphomaniac, chronically wet and insatiable. Fact: turning forty turned me into a cougar after ending up in bed with a Gorgeous 24 year old guy. Called a friend of mine: am I a cougar now? Never looked back.

* That is the good thing about being a cougar: We will always be a chronically wet and insatiable nymphomaniac.

Yet still there is a stigma lingering around age. And age differences too. I remember a discussion with this guy who said: girls in their twenties don't want children, girls in their thirties already have children, women in their forties can't have children. Excuse me? That's sexism. Sexism and frustration, possibly penopause. I know girls in their twenties who already have children, girls in their thirties who don't want children and women who got children in their fifties. Let's face it: women are and will always be the stronger sex. Compared to us you guys are just a bunch of pussies.

* Women get wiser, wilder and more experienced with age, much more experimental too btw. Especially cougars.

Having said that: I get it, the Love for younger girls. Tight body, flawless skin, easy to mold, but while girls peak at around forty (and go uphill from there) men peak at around eighteen (and go downhill from there, yes, it's a fact) so take a man in his forties and a girl in her twenties and do the math: that's a sexual peak age difference of 40 years.

* Forty freaking years you guys. I will probably burst your fragile and impotent egos, but that's what us cougars do.

"Why younger?" I get asked a lot. Since I'm writing about the topic, let's tackle that. In short: I like their carefreeness, it's contagious. Slightly longer: with men around my age things like compatibility or distance become important while I'm like: I like you, you like me, let's meet. I'm pretty simple like that. While talking about dates someone said to me:

* Your playfulness & impulsivity just doesn't seem to match with men around your age and that's true. See: cougar.

She knows me so well, I need to play (and prey) and that's why I occasionally spend some time on sex dating sites. Older guys don't seem to vibe with me and of course I have my needs too. My ad is pretty direct and it goes like this:

Every time it starts raining men instantly and even though young guys bomb my inbox en masse, men over 40 & 50 find their way to my inbox too. It's asking for a rejection. It makes me wonder if they have masochistic tendencies?

It's a preference, don't come with "I'm not young anymore, but I have the mind of a young god" 'cause you will get a "Sorry, but not the body and stamina" or "Why a young god, they don't have any experience, they don't know how to please you" 'cause you will get an "Ever got your brains fucked out by a young god? If not, you should give it a try"

* Fun and entertaining as it might be (hey hey, pee sex?) believe it or not, cougars want something serious too.

Trust me, I did my share of soul-searching. My father is 10 years younger than my mother, both my grandfathers younger than my grandmothers, could it be genetic? I got my first kiss and lost my virginity when I was 27, could it be I'm still catching up? I never got to kiss behind the school and missed out on the slow dance. Any volunteers?

* God the guys at the supermarket around the corner: they get my cougar blood boiling. Every damn single time.

Back to why younger? It's not only their carefreeness what I love about them, it takes one helluva man to dominate an older woman and being older also means they admire you for your life experience and wisdom, for knowing what you want and being able to express it. They will also make for the best lovers when they are older. Trust me on this.

Having been with two men who dated a 27 year old girl when they were 14 I know what I'm talking about. And why no expiration date for men? Because they can make babies till they are nonagenarians? Maybe it's time to redefine expiration date :-) Because you will get old and bold and grey and grumpy. And you will need Viagra. Sooner or later.
