A Path To Walk
A path to walk, would that be fate?
that fear of dark, would I abate?
souls of profound bonds seldom found
barren hearts wouldn't tread that ground
quiet calls to trace in timeless rate.
Would inner rhythm dictate
heart abode or be it blind date?
or just to a world be spellbound?
A path to walk
To each step there should be a date
for every choice time wouldn't wait
roamers seek not the Self imbound
on divine journeys, souls unbound
feed heart and open wide mind's gate

I really liked learning about this form poetically. Musically, I know this as an ABA or an ABACA, or ABACABA format. I truly enjoyed the subject and rhyming. That intimidates me. My rhymes always end up like Mother Goose or Dr Seuss. This is lovely.
