joined with the people
we feel each other intimately
 
rejoicing this season
colorful lights family get togethers
a special time of year
festive and bright
 
let's not forget those struggling
because this time of year can be daunting
for those dealing with pain
the grey overwhelming
depression sets in, feeling left out of the celebration
 
reach out to those you can
there is much to be grateful for so give thanks
keep your brothers and sisters in your prayers
someone is missing a person no longer there
 
hold your loved ones tight
this is the season for love
tend the tree
and the dinner
but remember those who suffer
