~Sunrise To The Blind~
I’ve been blind since birth or so they say~
I have missed nothing; not even the most beautiful
of sunrises…
I feel the rays cast upon my skin in the early morns
light the warmth is so delightful…
Who is anyone to say I’m blind…
The sun peaks daily and I’m there to see and feel
all it has to offer me…
The visuals you have are nothing compared to what
I experience…
You can’t even begin to know the depth in which I
receive things most to often the sighted take for
granted…
I know every move the sun makes…
Each mile it stretches to light others way….
I’m encompassed by life like no other…
You could only hope to be as blind as you think I am~!!!

Indeed, just because one is blind to visuals it does not stop them from seeing the wonderful things life has to offer. Excellent subject to touch on. I appreciate this piece.
