PRAYED FOR A LOVE IN YOU
When you stood beneath the moonlit sky,
Accompanied by stars—an audience on high,
Overtaken by the shadow of beauty that glowed with you,
A marvel of perfect pieces, a world so true.
A world centered around you, held firm by your grace,
My heart whispers silent prayers for love in your embrace.
Not the story of an angel, but a simple woman divine,
Yet, in your presence, even the stars seem to shine.
I love as I have never loved… when I loved you,
A gift not just for you, but for my heart too.
A promise in love that will never die,
Living beyond the last breath I sigh.
A love that bestows hope for God’s sake,
The truest example of the bond He did make.
When I look in your eyes, I feel it so clear—
A love undeniable, my soul draws near.
I offer kisses for every day of our lives together,
If I miss one day, let the next hold two forever.
If I miss two days, let them be followed by four—
For missing you, even briefly, I cannot endure.
Three days apart shall never cross my mind,
For even one or two would feel unkind.
So let me hold you, now and till the end,
Through every moment, as lover and friend.
As the years pass, my home is with you,
Etched in stone are the memories we knew.
A destiny bound by passion and truth,
A love unshaken since the days of our youth.
If ever I were to lose you, I’d hold my breath,
These lungs would reject life, welcoming death.
Like a sky stripped of stars and moon,
The heavens would cry, and my heart would swoon,
Fighting the sorrow, yet unable to say goodbye.
Accompanied by stars—an audience on high,
Overtaken by the shadow of beauty that glowed with you,
A marvel of perfect pieces, a world so true.
