Lunar Alchemy
In the night of darkness,
The trees get taller on a full moon,
Branches get longer than noon,
Leaves are greener with veins thick.
Darkness gets darker,
Moonlight yearns for blood,
Squirrels hide in their treehouses,
When the beast walks through the forest.
A blend of a wolf and medusa’s head,
Spitting lethal poison out of their hissing voices,
Standing on hooves of a goat,
Looking for innocent blood to cherish its soul.
Walks distances, delving deeper,
Thirst builds up like a snowball,
Swaying anything on its way like a bandwagon,
Saving strength for the weakest prey.
On its way met some weirdo,
Made different and stronger,
Wodusa was shocked by her aura,
Finally meeting a worthy opponent.
Wodusa consumed by thoughts of blood,
Didn’t notice weirdo’s beauty,
She’s white and fluffy,
Sexy like a zebra and cute like a deer.
One thing went obvious when she spoke,
Her sound was sharp could cut steel,
Teeth could crash a diamond,
Wodusa thought she’s a competition.
Strikingly she resembled Aphrodite,
Mercury had purpose but not to fight,
Between her chest water was dripping,
Her eyes whispered the urge of healing.
Wodusa ran onto her with force,
Venus resisted with compassion,
But her heart changed course,
Water changed to blood oncourse.
By instinct they fought,
By the rage they caught,
None of them caved in,
She held the moon still.
An endless fight it was,
Emotions started wearing off,
Travelling to another extreme,
From rage to love indeed.
Hard to know how it went,
Let the gods decide fate,
Wodusa was just mundane,
Got tired and locked eyes with her instead.
The heat was intense,
Guided under suspense,
Sensual love mightier than the sword,
Instinctual hate he couldn’t afford.
The fight turned to squeezing juices,
Wodusa’s urge to fill a void,
It’s not blood anymore,
Her was enough to quench his thirst.
