It's Been so Long
Each breath
allows me
to drink in
what has
broken through,
from unprounced
to whispered spread,
the depth
and breadth
of you.
To lie
between
the hips
of fate
and draft
the morning dew,
from figs
and late
persimmon such,
each sunrise
tastes anew.
