Then You Were Gone

Shadows creeping closer, the end might be near,  I'll share something in laughter, to chase away fear.

Been dreaming big dreams, now let them soar to the skies,  Lost in the moments , while the truth softly lies.

She’s reading my words, though her heart’s through the door
I wear a fake smile, while my mind's left in awe

There is pain in my veins, and a knife to my back,  A Bullet through my thoughts, guess I'm losing my track.

A bit on the edge, yeah, my mind’s gone a wild,  Walking through the rain, just a lost little child.

Seems moments slipped through yes they fell through the seams?  Spent chasing in solace, while I got lost in my dreams.

Where have the pages margins and borders all gone?  Now I’m floating high, in a dark-hued ballet would be song

She won't reach for me now, but I linger on her mind,  A morning embrace, with the world left behind.

Let me show you the lessons, the wisdom I gained,  While you were out running, my heart was unchained.

You're fading away, but I’m still holding on,
It’s just my nature, like a light through the dawn the words carry on

Take her from my arms, but I’ll still keep the flame, you might be gone but I'm heading for fame

Letting you go , the memories love long  it’s a part of the game blame shame then you were gone .....
