Bleeding Tears
My mind’s mouth kept me awake
Thoughts dripping with acidic words
A language meant to gash my being
As I watched myself bleeding tears
Echoes ringing within my head
A cacophony of whys and what ifs
Like a siren blaring over and over
With a piper, seeking to be heard
Serving myself on a dish
For my nerves to chew into pieces
Then spew my bitter leftovers
Until I fell asleep with a distant wish
Thoughts dripping with acidic words
A language meant to gash my being
As I watched myself bleeding tears
Echoes ringing within my head
A cacophony of whys and what ifs
Like a siren blaring over and over
With a piper, seeking to be heard
Serving myself on a dish
For my nerves to chew into pieces
Then spew my bitter leftovers
Until I fell asleep with a distant wish
