Kneeling
It’s a proud part of manhood
Raised high in the air
It stands as a symbol
For the soul’s earnest prayer
A violet crown that it wears
Was given at birth
Designed for her pleasure
By our dear Mother Earth
Kneeling before him
She’s childlike and fair,
She plants a soft kiss
With eyes closed as in prayer
Raised high in the air
It stands as a symbol
For the soul’s earnest prayer
A violet crown that it wears
Was given at birth
Designed for her pleasure
By our dear Mother Earth
Kneeling before him
She’s childlike and fair,
She plants a soft kiss
With eyes closed as in prayer
