Disguised Princesses

When beauty fades and all that's left, are betrayals, lies, and hatefulness.  
Trying to hide yourself behind smiling emojis and it's all goods.  
Doesn't mean that your words were misunderstood.  
It's not like makeup, you can't hide the jabs.  
The this and that or the that and this, and think the context was completely missed.  
I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but it's kind of hard to ignore the words that come out their mouth.  
Things haven't changed. You're still trying to keep me down, by smothering my happiness and putting new flames out.  
Another win for you, I have no doubt.  
I didn't even prepare for this unannounced bout.  
I'm starting to remember why I kept my distance.  
I'm surrounded by demons disguised as princesses.
