Im Your God

I’m Your God

In the shade of moon, where shadows dwell,
I'll weave a tale of your self-made hell.
Mind pulses with dread, despair's gentle call,
Leading you softly as your barriers fall.

Taste me, discover the threads that rewind,
Your heart locked in darkness, no light to shine.
Come, crawl faster, with blind faith you tread,
Life slips through your fingers, as it hangs by a thread.

I’m your God, tugging at every edge,
Warping perception, lost in the hedge.
Blinded by whispers that cloud your sight,
Call on my name; I’ll answer the night.

The quiet screams echo in depths of the dark,
Pain wraps around you, an insidious mark.
Threads of deceit weave a delicate lace,
As life and death dance in this haunted space.

A deep ache settles where dreams used to soar,
Reflections distorted, they shatter and bore.
Crave me, and find the shadows that bloom,
Devotion’s cruel price—a heart sealed in gloom.

Come, crawl faster; don’t falter, don’t sway,
Life ignites softly, then fades far away.
Blinded by whispers, clarity slips,
Call on my name as the darkness eclipses.

Where are those hopes that once lit your way?
Only echoes remain, in twilight they play.
Laughter surrounds, a mockery near,
As voices grow faint, drowned out by your fear.

Fix me, redeem me, into your embrace,
An endless desert, a desolate place.
A maze with no end, lost in your plight,
Life out of season, swallowed by night.

I will take hold, guiding you deep,
Through every fiber, your soul I will keep.
Come, crawl faster, embrace what’s begun,
I’m your God, in the shadows, we’re one.

Warping your mind, bending your view,
Blinded by whispers, I utter your cues.
Call on my name, feel the pull in your cry
Embrace the darkness, let the shadows reply.
