Hell and Back

Hell and back

Been to hell and back and
You say hell wasn’t here

I’m in a fever dream
Tattoo on my neck and a
Badge in my pocket

Law officer sworn to protect
Angry screams marching down the street

Based on a lie of liar…he’s a Thief
Dome of the people breached
Dragged into lies down the stairs

Badge stolen by a traitor
Beaten with a thin blue line the
Same line I stand behind

Taser on my neck you can
Tase my tattoo
Lose consciousness
Cardiac arrest on my knees

Now can you tell me
What is real before me

I’ve been to hell and back
What about you

I’ve been to hell and back
What about you

What about you
Have you seen hell in your eyes

I’ve stared down the demon
Still breathing with a new tattoo

I’ve been to hell and back
What about you
