Image for the poem Path less Traveled

Path less Traveled

The path less traveled
Has many veins

Go down in the Brush
Come up rose thorn stuck in my thumb

Dust settles my footprints
 Path well worn before me

With tributaries going off
Put my foot down

Make my mark

Choose the path I deserve
Pulsing through the soil

Pop up vegetable
Step over my travails

And my true soul is revealed
Path of redemption

And musical notes
Typhoon of symphony

Some truth mixed in
With some blues

Strap on my sandals
Pick up a stick

Divining who I am
God or prophet

Set my soul onto paper
Come up for air

Path less travelled
Is one to traverse
