When I
When I drink,
I do it to forget your face.
When I leave,
It's to get away from a you-filled space.
When I smoke weed,
I do it to be able to laugh again,
When I text you,
It's to try and reach out to my once best friend.
When I am asleep,
It's you I dream of.
When I talk about an ex,
It's you, and I'm still in love.
When I drive for miles,
I do it to think of you,
When I drive past your house,
I drive past my home too.
When I look at other girls,
It's only to compare,
Your figure, your eyes, your ginger hair.
I do it to forget your face.
When I leave,
It's to get away from a you-filled space.
When I smoke weed,
I do it to be able to laugh again,
When I text you,
It's to try and reach out to my once best friend.
When I am asleep,
It's you I dream of.
When I talk about an ex,
It's you, and I'm still in love.
When I drive for miles,
I do it to think of you,
When I drive past your house,
I drive past my home too.
When I look at other girls,
It's only to compare,
Your figure, your eyes, your ginger hair.
