Villain

Stricken by sickening limerence  
Not a moment of rest ever since  
My dreams devoured by your presence  
Made so much worse by your innocence  
Accidental catastrophe  
Hellbent on subsuming me  
It’s my own God damned tragedy  
 
I’m lost in a labyrinth of loneliness  
Every turn sending me further in  
Cursed to yearn for the unobtainable  
This realization is indigestible  
 
You’re the beauty and I’m the beast  
Only this is no children’s fairy tail  
Your splendor garners endless attention  
My hunger evading my tries at retention  
These fangs are far from hidden  
So in panic I’ll retreat to self isolation  
 
I never wanted to be the villain
