Primordial Calculus

Before the dawn of bone or breath
when light was young, and time was death
there stirred beneath the primal sea  
a sorcery of strange decree

Not runes nor tongues of man yet born
but numbers etched in ancient form
primeval codes that coiled and bent
through sacred math, the void was rent

Arcane equations, writ in flesh
where sine and curve in shadows mesh
No theorem known, no proof designed
could grasp the fractal depths entwined

In depths of silt, in churning mire
the laws of forms did twist, conspire
Geometries beyond the sphere
that tore through space, then reappeared

In spirals vast, in angles tight
in ratios that warp the light
the protocambrian wizards drew  
their shapes, their sums, their cryptic view

Esoteric symbols writ
in endless loops, where numbers split
golden ratios that never cease
a calculus of cosmic peace

The integers of stars unformed
where zero’s birth and death conformed
Where pi would stretch through seas of time
and primes would speak in silent rhyme

Through sacred proofs, in shadowed stone
they carved equations, still unknown
A sorcery of sums so vast  
that even time itself was cast

The roots of life, of breath, of mind
were bound in patterns undefined
where ancient sinew, sea, and star  
became the same, both near and far

And deep beneath the fractured shell  
of earth and sky, where numbers dwell
the primal sorcery remains
in forms unseen, yet marked with chains

In symbols lost, in sums undone
the primal math still shapes the sun
a force esoteric, entwined with fate
the calculus that gods create
