Shhh...Silence

The Hoia Forest, known as the Bermuda Triangle of Romania, a source of every eerie, unusual activity. Trees grew with strange shapes, twisting and wriggling into the most strange forms, morphed and bent in peculiar ways, together creating a pine green canopy covering the soil with a thick blanket of merged foliage, casting shadows over the atmosphere. The swirling fog throughout the woods made it even harder to see the darkness lurking around.

Locals warned of the danger taking root in there. Many hikers, adventurers and even idiotic paranormal enthusiasts—such as myself—who find excitement amidst horror, went and never came back, swallowed by the darkest corners of torment. Yet, what they didn’t speak of was the undead creature, the Draugr, inhabiting the heart of the forest, slumbering inside its tomb.

The powerful “again-walker” guarded the burial mound, protecting treasure. Deformed in its own ghostly appearance, almost every body part was missing. The pale skin and rotting flesh served like a reminder to the absence of life within those torn features. Hollow eyes, sunken ears, sharp teeth and rusty armor—were all meant to help hunting you down.

Unless you stay silent like a rock, walk on tiptoe carefully so as not to step on any dead leaves, keep your heartbeats and breath quiet. Be aware to not make a noise, every move could cost you your life. If you fail to avoid its awakening, you’ll find yourself playing the silent game with the undead.

I know this quite well because I'm right here, right now, watching the glowing aura and the gray mist surrounding the Draugr, as it strides towards me as if the woods were its runaway. I’m writing down all of this—my final words—in hopes that someone will find this paper. And if you do, whoever is reading this, could you please tell my friend, who always said that I'd get into trouble, that I found the Draugr and I owe her the gummy bears we talked about?
Oh and tell the people that—
