Echoing Myths - with Mel44

Ebbing twilight of souls, gods, and monsters
the banshee’s scream echoing myths
roaming the Irish countryside
a supernatural songstress
wailing an omen of doom
hovering, floating, like a mist
gliding over the thatched cottages
where the aroma of Stobhach lingers
a foretelling for the dying
lamenting anguish
releasing a sonic scream
eclipsing whisperings of the heart
the inhumane amplitude of fatality
shattering the winter’s glass of ice
an eeriness of imminent demise
forged by the banshee’s song
mournful melodies
precede impending death
