Lost In the Wind
A soft, sweet voice drifts in the wind
singing of freedom
to drown out her loneliness
she wonders why she feels so empty
Oh she cries her sweet laments
singing a song
that's lost in the wind
at night when the stars rise
her own drop down her soft cheeks
she looks up at the moon so round
singing a song
that's lost in the wind
the wind carries her voice with care
letting it drift throughout the land
she wishes to be free as the air
singing a song
that's lost in the wind
I look at the ground below me
hidden within dark, green branches
wishing I could fly away
I sing a song
that's lost in the wind
singing of freedom
to drown out her loneliness
she wonders why she feels so empty
Oh she cries her sweet laments
singing a song
that's lost in the wind
at night when the stars rise
her own drop down her soft cheeks
she looks up at the moon so round
singing a song
that's lost in the wind
the wind carries her voice with care
letting it drift throughout the land
she wishes to be free as the air
singing a song
that's lost in the wind
I look at the ground below me
hidden within dark, green branches
wishing I could fly away
I sing a song
that's lost in the wind
