narcissist in my house
he feels like I forced him to live how he did, and since everything is officially his now he can decide how I live.
he feels if I don't agree and/or give him what he wants he'll just evict me at mine and my children's detriment.
he feels he's being nice enough to let me remain here financially free while disregarding the choices he made that got us here in the first place.
he feels if I don't cooperate it's my fault if I get evicted.
but he does not want me to leave, he just wants to control my existence.
I am woman, I am worthy, I will not back down and I call upon the protection of my sisters.

I was in a similar situation with my ex, believe it or not. Because I was too laid back. I was fortunate in that when it was time to split, I was prepared. But not everyone has that ability.
Feeling trapped is miserable. It's not living. Like life is on standby, perhaps.
I hope that you are in a better situation nowadays, because you are an awesome soul who deserves good days.
Writing is so therapeutic, and it helps build courage and even our self esteem back up.

i kept thinking it'd be fine or i'd be able to get out when needed, alas here we are.
all of that is true and still here, but i refuse to let it keep me down; so at the very least a better mindset going forward.
