cherish

come to me my love
loneliness abounds I covet your soul
within my deepest desire I crave
you are the faith that lights my darkness
holding me in your chambers fair

eternities have come and gone
we were in love
we were so young
bitter honesty bruised my soul

longing for your touch
so bare of soul I blush
keening in my ache
for you to fulfill my emptiness
I languish on the vine

corrupt a wish
and steal a kiss so passionately
I falter in and out of the light

my choice is made
I would die a thousand deaths
if we were but free

sincerity serenades your beauty
cherished irreplaceable beloved
my heart impaled

tears fall unguarded
a tempest rain
my soul mourns yours

missing from my side is your honor
your loyalty is unending
cast your spell
I am enchanted
in love with you
never to love another again
