Chrysanthemum

She was

An exquisite mime
A carved forgotten beauty
Blindsided my dreamscape...she did
Propped her visage inside my mind...
Swimming.....swarming along the edges of my
Sub-conscious

My Eros

Left me hungover...with a mourning stretch
My glossed figurine...sifting ethereal
Spoon-feeding sweet memoirs
From the {most-high-school}..etched from another time-line

She'd string together days of future-past theories
Just for me...where we aged like fine wine
Where all of our what-ifs became that potent fifth
Of liquefied love

We'd forever stay drunk on..
