Silent Screams

Children are pure, they are white like snow.
But one man decided to let that thought go.
He took her, an innocent little girl.
He took her and he killed her whole world.
Undressed her in the dark, tears on her face.
Now how she sees herself is only disgrace.
He was brute and forceful, he wanted what she had.
She thought it was punishment for something she did bad.
He enjoyed her for hours on end,
With her screams silently mixed in.
Everything she once had was taken away.
Her thoughts on life are beginning to go array.
She couldn’t even see his face in the eerie dark
But his presents on her life made a permanent mark.
She cries when the sun sets and it becomes night.
She worries that he will return for her at sunlight.
His body was icy cold against her own.
All she was imagining was being safe at home.
Once he had enough he threw her aside,
Like she was just some useless cheap ride.
She lay on the ground covered in shame,
The way she sees her life will never be the same.
He laughed at her tears that rolled down her cheek,
Her heart began breaking, her mind went meek.
Every ounce of trust she ever once had,
Was drained from her soul, from a child so sad.
Laying beside the bed naked and chilled,
Her mind emptied of every hope it had ever filled.
The man lay in his bed sleeping; he got what he wanted.
This child will always and forever be haunted
By the memories of the dark room on the cold night,
The thought of it reoccurring gave her a sharp fright.
Never again would she feel as a little girl,
Her innocence was taken, the man took her world.
