Okay, then.
I'm gon let you do it your way. Especially if it works for you.
I know you have a brain. And I know it works. (Much as I hate admitting that one.) Plus, I'm tired of arguing.

I still think what you are doing is unnecessary. But that's mainly cuz the way I do it (and kept pushing you to follow) works just fine for me. And it has worked for years.

Fortunately, I have seen enough in my time on this Earth to be aware that "my way" is not the "only way". I'm experienced enough to realize that your way does have its merits.

So have at it. Show your stuff. But don't get "cocky".

Some of your innovations will fall by the wayside. And you will end up doing things exactly the way I do now.

Some of my correct, for values of correct, will be modified by you and others like you, to suit your own preference and style. And your changes will make an old way even more effective. Like nitrous in a street racer and new oil and coils in a Yukon.

Some of what I do, you will just discard. Make a whole new way, or even a whole new process. What you create will blow my "comfort-zone functionality" completely out of the water.

One day, you will become the new standard.

So go ahead. Do what you do. Exceed me.
But know this. I'm still gon grumble. I'm gon frown. And I'm gon grouse.
But you having something that works. And knowing how to get the job done better is the reality of life. That is progress.

You are here, now. You will be here tomorrow. You, young sir, are progress.

I'm grumpy, but I'm not hatin'. Keep pushing like you do. I wanna see you survive, achieve, and excel.
