Foolish Thoughts
For I do not stand at the pulpit to preach in judgement of others. So that I will not drown in the sin of self righteousness. Nor take ownership, of wisdom and knowledge, nor claim to be the author of the two. Because the sun shines on my flesh as do yours. When I am in thirst I seek water as others do. When in hunger I sit at the table as others do. As others do I am repelled by the scent of my own droppings. Yet I may be the vessel that can convey, a message filled with knowledge and wisdom. Yet I seek not praise from others. Nor do I praise myself, lest I too become a idolator, and find myself the idol and fall into self worship. I give praise to the hands that has shaped my vessel to pour out it's teachings. It was said he that has not sinned cast the first stone. Yet the one that was accused of the sin found no casters, as they stood on a mountain of rocks. If you can only see the weakness of others, and not yet your own. Oh how weak is your sight. If you speak against others in judgement of others. The tongue that you speak it with. Will bear testimony against you. If you are always right, have mercy on your soul. Because you are not bless with the wisdom to see your wrongs. So you can't see your way to correction. So you shall perish in error. Well these words I have written may not make any sense at all. Maybe all may not have the sense to read them. Maybe every word that I have written is senseless. Or maybe I am a foolish man, that is not wise enough to understand what I have written. So find me a wise person to tell me does my words make any sense. Judge me by them.
