James
Dear James ,
I tried to call you the other night
Like a slap across the face
I was hit with a confronting realisation
The line was disconnected
I was drowning
Desperatly gasping for A breath of air
Beneath the tears that had run down my face
When I surfaced , I realised I was robbed
She took my laughter
She took my trust
She took the smile that I once expressed from my eyes
She couldn't take my memories
But she took my ability to make more
She took my best friend
The only person I would rely on
I don't care about anything else
Your a father now
I will do my best to be there for him
I will tell him storys of the loving man you were
I miss you my brother
I will have to learn to walk alone
It should have been me
I wish it were me
I will see you soon
Forever and Always
