escapism inside my prism isn't possible
refracted light reflects my emotional state
like a diamond, it shines

my blues shine the brightest
my sorrow complete
sadness shows me the way to cover my pain

the red is anger not dealt with
it burns with its need
it just hurts

my green is where I grow
I can commune with nature best
my daisies say they love me

then theres onyx of my soul feeling so old
and utterly alone

the white light of the unknown
this bothers me the most
not knowing the future

in the dawn of understanding
I let it go and realized I could do little to change it

then there's my yellow is so bold it glows
my soul's warmth
gentle and inviting

residing in my spectrum
like a rainbow, it reflects honesty
bare in the moment and you can see it
