Look to Nothing...
How many choose to remain oblivious
to the monsters lurking in the night?
Just how many remain the same
when faced with something they don't understand?
The night approaches.
Casting its veil.
The senseless appear.
Casting its veil.
It's only the wind.
Making noises so unnatural.
So unable to grasp the fact
horror is discreet to no one.
Not to me.
The footsteps are getting closer.
There are shadows at the corners of the eyes.
Whisper "Hello..."
It's the wind.
Silence, piercing.
Close your eyes
as it's the only defense against what you fear to know.
We aren't shy, only ashamed about what we've become
in your eyes.
The wounds we show aren't as severe
as the wounds we hide in the darkness we trust.
We are the silhouettes assimilated into the shadows
your eyes won't dare to look.
Just look at me and make me feel alive and I exist.
Focus on my voice and have our eyes meet.
Finally.
How many choose?
It's not up to them...
to the monsters lurking in the night?
Just how many remain the same
when faced with something they don't understand?
The night approaches.
Casting its veil.
The senseless appear.
Casting its veil.
It's only the wind.
Making noises so unnatural.
So unable to grasp the fact
horror is discreet to no one.
Not to me.
The footsteps are getting closer.
There are shadows at the corners of the eyes.
