Apocalyptic Paradise (Juxtaposition)

Kg bombs drop, down the road.
It's piercing whistle, serving as our rebelant ode.

Rubble lines the streets, just outside our den.
Homes, businesses, & friends we'll never see again.

Damning implication, has cast it's net, as in years past.
Having gotten it's way, this time, tonight's kiss will certainly be our last

Snipers surround the city, & man every gate.
So I reach for your touch, before it becomes too late.

War gas, has now begun it's inevitable climb, invading our precious air.
With any luck, it will stall, reaching our loves scent,
Somewhere, way up there.

Screeching alarms,
& rapturous moans, somehow start to blend.
What an exquisite march, that sadly has to end.

We fall apart, resulting from, Nuclear Pulse Propulsion;
But not before we came undone, from our collective orgasmic convulsions.

The history will one day read, in love, down they both lied.
And then will say, it is for this same love,
That they both died....

Aware of only each other;
Both oblivious to oblivion.
