Moment in Memory Ago - with Grace

I heard you smile a moment in memory ago
as your spiritual shadow looked into my eyes
and whispered the only words I need to hear
your lips of the crimson sheen reflecting life
 
thoughts dwelled during yesterday
how the reflections of vivacious self
turned heads and summoned smiles
lips moistened to expect kisses
 
and now the chandeliers glisten in moonlight
followed by snow on the twilight's rainbow
with a reflection in a mirror for tomorrow  
of verdant green fields and meadows
 
watching the glorious sunrise on the horizon
standing there bathed in the pure first light of day
with bittersweet thoughts washed away, gone
anticipating smiles hope for a vibrant tomorrow
