Quicksand
Stuck in this quicksand
In need of a quick hand
Maybe a big hand or even a big branch
Just to pull me out
But no one about
Feeling like no one about
To just hear me out
It seems I’m sinking faster than expected
Probably never to be detected
Screaming out
To the top of my lungs
This ain’t no fun
Now it’s in my mouth
PAUSE
Scratch that come back
Fighting through this quicksand
Need a new plan better think quick man
Do what you gotta do to stand
Nobody can help you if you can’t
Help yourself
Find the closest branch
Pull yourself out
Yell out to the top of my lungs
That I made the climb out
How I kept fighting until the battle was won
Because the war within is a constant one
And I’ll keep coming until im done
Fuck, PAUSE
Standing on this quicksand
Look at what you did man
Proud to stand before you
A warrior true
Doing what I have to
Not to let myself sink
Because when you do
You lose
You quit
And who in the hell
Told you
To give up on you
In need of a quick hand
Maybe a big hand or even a big branch
Just to pull me out
But no one about
Feeling like no one about
To just hear me out
It seems I’m sinking faster than expected
Probably never to be detected
Screaming out
To the top of my lungs
This ain’t no fun
Now it’s in my mouth
PAUSE
Scratch that come back
Fighting through this quicksand
Need a new plan better think quick man
Do what you gotta do to stand
Nobody can help you if you can’t
Help yourself
Find the closest branch
Pull yourself out
Yell out to the top of my lungs
That I made the climb out
How I kept fighting until the battle was won
Because the war within is a constant one
And I’ll keep coming until im done
Fuck, PAUSE
Standing on this quicksand
Look at what you did man
Proud to stand before you
A warrior true
Doing what I have to
Not to let myself sink
Because when you do

And who in the hell
