Void(age)
As a void
You start getting tired
seeing 120 feet away
of what's coming
and don't always
wish to see six times
lower in darkness than
the average human,
it gets exhausting
catching yourself
after the hardest
fall, then purring
to aid the bone
density you require
as a void
I wish to roll around
in sunshine, slow blink
at every flower that
softly blooms into
another season
let my eyes dilate
seeing my loved
ones faces, no hiss
or arched back as
they embrace my
velveteen frame
let dogs wander
in their curiousity,
pawing between
my little wing
spans for ears
as a void
I wish to curl up
in the sun spot,
to feel nothing
but the warmth
slowly soaking
in my whiskers.
