One Single Breath
I’m merely a humble enigma
Always flying beneath the radar
A cold stare is what I’ve known
Being judged by so-called society
I’m constantly against the grain
Kinda grown accustomed to it
Choosing to confront my demon
Understanding it’s me or them
Still rough around the edges
Things never smoothed out
So I embraced a new method
In figuring what went wrong
Realizing every human is groomed
On principle to a certain degree
From education to behavior
I was taught to be obedient
When I broke the fourth wall
Dominion theories tumbled
It was refreshing to be awake
Though it is sometimes lonely
All I truly know is who I am
That took decades to happen
Can only make assumptions
When it comes to others
Often wonder why I’m here
Certainly not to be famous
I’m not worried bout wealth
That train has left the station
Bestowed with a little creativity
Sometimes it’s been a true gift
But often it feels sorta cursed
All within one single breath
Always flying beneath the radar
A cold stare is what I’ve known
Being judged by so-called society
I’m constantly against the grain
Kinda grown accustomed to it
Choosing to confront my demon
Understanding it’s me or them
Still rough around the edges
Things never smoothed out
So I embraced a new method
In figuring what went wrong
Realizing every human is groomed
On principle to a certain degree
From education to behavior
I was taught to be obedient
When I broke the fourth wall
Dominion theories tumbled
It was refreshing to be awake
Though it is sometimes lonely
All I truly know is who I am
That took decades to happen
Can only make assumptions
When it comes to others
Often wonder why I’m here
Certainly not to be famous
I’m not worried bout wealth
That train has left the station
Bestowed with a little creativity
Sometimes it’s been a true gift
But often it feels sorta cursed
All within one single breath
