Lumen
Deep blue as the sea at night
Scattered orbs of light
They shine
Lighting up the sky
With hints of what has been
Constellations understood
By few
The ones who traveled across the sea
By the lights of the sky
When did this tradition die
We rely on technological
Devices we think we need
We learn to read
But do we actually read what’s in between
The sky we see is ever changing
A sneak peak into another world
I never get bored of this work of art
The one I only witness when it’s night
This is quite a sight
The incredible stories the stars could tell
If only they spoke when they fell
Scattered orbs of light
They shine
Lighting up the sky
With hints of what has been
Constellations understood
By few
The ones who traveled across the sea
By the lights of the sky
When did this tradition die
We rely on technological
Devices we think we need
We learn to read
But do we actually read what’s in between
The sky we see is ever changing
A sneak peak into another world
I never get bored of this work of art
The one I only witness when it’s night
This is quite a sight
The incredible stories the stars could tell
If only they spoke when they fell
