Swift beginnings with no intention of lasting
Carefully not getting attached,
Meticulously not letting yourself be known.
Unexpectedly still falling deeper,
Quickly ending up at a disadvantage.
 
A glacial heart just a gasp away from melting
Just a touch away from erupting
Just a kiss away from fantasizing,  
About a dream being real.
Realizing all was imagined,
eradicates the illusion
 
Sleepless nights caused by untrue statements
Favoring indulging in early gratifications.
Rather easier, when confronted with
Exceptional abnormality, but
Wouldn't love be grander?
 
Giving it your all, but still out of reach
Slowly gathering that trying
was unwanted.
