Why?

No me, no you
Just a scorched Earth and
sky faded blue
Yet we roll over
Give up and give in
to all others' wishes and commands
One day there will be no them
No pleasing, no pleading
while, for now, we do anything
to get everything, but

Also right, I saw a documentary on the planets & what happened to Mars will eventually happen to us, basically! The little dynamo in the centre of the earth will stop ejecting its magnetic field shield that protects us from the sun's cosmic radiation and charged particle emissions. 😐

Spot on, Billy. I gotta say, that's what gets me through a lot of days. The fact that the sun will burn out one day, that all which we consider sacred will be null. That gives me solace; we think we are so damn important, but yet not. Sayonara.

It doesn't give me peace though, really. I believe others should enjoy what we have enjoyed or continue to enjoy (if we're lucky). I know it's all gonna come to an end long after I have gone but it is my natural instinct to hope humankind will continue for as long as is possible because it is all I have ever known. 😊
