Unrehearsed shadows of debauchery
to snuff the Puritans and laureates
With decadency and the words of Sodom
debauched by the wooden horse
Tonguing splinters of a corpse
in my poetic delirium with a quill's brush
I start to surmise that the shadows
are released from the tiny fissures of my brain
No longer wanting to be enclosed
freedom is what they wanted, and freedom is what
they took
to snuff the Puritans and laureates
