Deathly Screams
In the dark
I lie alone
With shadows creeping
Along the walls
The wind softly blows
My curtains aside
And a faint scream
Comes inside
It echoes
Down the halls
I lift up
Out of my bed
And look around
My dark room
With the light
Shining in
And slowly creeping
Across my walls
I blink
But their ain't
Nothing in sight
I lay down
And close my eyes
But those screams
Still echo
In my head
So loud
I lie alone
