My Inferno
I immolate in my holy fire.
I cry on the pyre
where I will breathe
my last breath
on the breeze,
frozen in the heat.
I lie motionless
and watch the flame
as it undulates.
My fate sealed,
my hate steeled.
My heart
no longer beats,
and my flesh burns
in the scintillating heat.
Raining embers
have left their impression
on my bones.
They've taken their toll
outside of my control.
I'm sick, I can't eat,
I'm incomplete.
All my dreams
and romantic things
sing that they are gone,
so long.
There is no atonement,
focus on the sacrifice.
Open my chest
and feast, my love,
on the marrow sucked
from cracked,
wracked bone.
My carcass is yours.
I cry on the pyre
where I will breathe
my last breath
on the breeze,
frozen in the heat.
I lie motionless
and watch the flame
as it undulates.
My fate sealed,
my hate steeled.
My heart
no longer beats,
and my flesh burns
in the scintillating heat.
Raining embers
have left their impression
on my bones.
They've taken their toll
outside of my control.
I'm sick, I can't eat,
I'm incomplete.
All my dreams
and romantic things
sing that they are gone,
so long.
There is no atonement,
focus on the sacrifice.
Open my chest
and feast, my love,
on the marrow sucked
from cracked,
wracked bone.
My carcass is yours.
