Just to Deal
Every child creates their own fantasy
Some are just a jumbled mystery
Others aren't quite a simple dream
Most are real it seems
Kids see what adults do not
Somethings that aren't quite caught
Maybe those imaginary friends
Aren't so imaginary when the day ends
Maybe those tiny dolls that never seem to budge
Actually hold a giant grudge
Maybe the puppets that dangle from their strings
Sit and stare as the think up the most horrible things
Maybe even fairies are real
But they're so horrific they can't deal
So maybe just maybe those childish dreams come true
Just not quite as we expect them to
Maybe they are the reasons for the nightmares
And for people having so many fears
Just remember when you go to bed
Those thoughts in your head
Even as a child are real
Even if we brush them off just to deal..
