And darkness
Met light
In a surreal way
Quite beyond grey

Lovelier than snow-caps
Riskier than lava
Our hands & lands
Stretched out

Reaching
For one another
Like ice
On a lip

Hoping to melt
But impossibly proud
At being

It shines through
Dribbles down
