MOTHER

M is for magnetic, that attraction that she used to draw lovers to herself.
O is for orgasmic, for those sensations that fulfilled the desires of her heart.
T is for tempting, for her breaking down of restraints.
H is for hot, for the heat she shared with so many.
E is for enchanting, for that ability she had to bring others into her mysterious life.
R is for romantic, for that aspect of love she longed for most and found the least.

Author's Note

During the final days of my pregnancy, I'm still frantic to write. This is just an irreverent acrostic poem for Mother's Day. Taken as a whole, her life was a happy one. I miss her. The pic is her death announcement as posted last year in DUP.

When I saw your avatar come up I thought 'we've got an announcement' - but I am not disappointed in this read for Mother's Day, a clever acrostic and I would concur with the last line. Might be irreverent to Mother's Day but I don't feel it is irrevernet about your mother, having got to understand something of her thinking before she took herself from us. She would probably laugh at this, I am sure. (We in UK honour our Mother's Day on a Sunday before Easter Day in late March/early April), it is not a fixed day as in US.)
