You Be You

By slipping inside he found it good
He found it warm inside
But was that hole in wood?
Was it narrow or wide?
Sometimes life is like a box of cherries
You may have a good day or two
The next week end up in the obituaries
So I will be me and you be you.
Keep moving on and be content
Just as the worm hole found his place
Life is good but lessons were meant
To teach us to love with a smile on our face.
So again, you be you
Strong, kind, loving and good
I will be me watching what you do
Still wondering about the worm hole in the
 wood.
