My baby shower toast:
Here's to the new life growing within me, a blessing that carries on the love of my parents, now gone. Each joy and affection I've known in this world, I owe to the nurturing embrace of my mother.
Though the path may have been unexpected, I'm grateful for David, and for the desires he awakened within me. On that fateful August night, I owned my choices entirely.
To Joseph, my lover, and my strength through this journey to motherhood, I am endlessly thankful. With you, I am my best self. To David, Joseph, and all my dear friends, your unwavering support means everything.
As I await the arrival of my first child, I can't help but wonder—could this journey lead me to a family I've wished for? I’m open to the possibilities while still embracing every chance for love and happiness that comes my way. Cheers to new beginnings and the beautiful surprises life brings.

This was the baby shower toast I gave. It was a wonderful time. The photo is edited from one Joseph took. I might be absent for a couple of weeks while having this baby. Hope to be back.
