stellar interpretation of my storms
you walked aside me
and were company to me
I, with an open heart, revealed myself

teaching you all of my magic
you usurped me one day
I failed to see you manipulating the greys
not seeing your slow rise among the moon-buttons
we had a beautiful society, until you ruined it

of telepathic communications
singing our feelings to each other
a place to grow and practice our magics
each manifesting a different gift
we gloried in each other
learning our power we soared

then a shadow entered
minds once open seemed guarded
envy had entered in
it was only perceptiable in the eyes
and songs with inflections changing
deception altering

I didn't see the fog was coming from you
that covered their minds
I knew when the winds rose
discombobulated I didn't know which direction it was coming from

now I know it was you all along
bribing them with dark power
I didn't see at first, how many you strung along
