Cry of a Palestinian Child

In the midst of despair, a poem emerges,
A lament for the Palestinian child,
Whose cry resounds through streets of ruin,
A piercing plea that knows no bounds.

Tears flow from innocent eyes,
Bearing witness to a reality so harsh,
Where dreams are shattered like broken homes,
And hope is a fragile ember in the dark.

From the ashes of destruction, a voice rises,
A primal scream against the oppressor's might,
Longing for a mother's embrace, a sanctuary,
Yearning for a future free from endless strife.

Occupation's weight, a burden too heavy,
Crushing spirits, suffocating the air we breathe,
Yet this child refuses to surrender to despair,
Defiantly confronting the world's unforgiving gaze.

Denied the joys of carefree childhood days,
Innocence stolen, replaced with bitter truths,
Their voice echoes within towering walls,
Built to divide, but met with unwavering pride.

Silencing is not an option, surrender not their path,
Witness a testament to resilience so rare,
From this anguished land, a generation rises,
Fists clenched, hearts in hand, demanding justice.

Equality and freedom, their rallying cry,
The Palestinian child's call resounds,
In the face of adversity, they stand tall,
A beacon of strength, inspiring one and all.
