Still she loves...

The world has been unkind. Shes been taught the lesson her whole life that she is somehow less. A constant barrage of criticism and judgement by men, the media and even other women. Every time she looks in the mirror she is reminded of all her imperfections and all the places where she lacks. She's been beaten and abused. She's been taken advantage of and taken for granted. She's been an afterthought. Shes stood in someone else's shadow. She's been underappreciated. She's been stripped of her voice and her choice. In spite of all that, she loves. She loves completely and unconditionally. She nurtures and supports. She works hard and achieves her goals. She exists in a world that would cease without her but denies her worth. In a world that doesn't deserve it, still she loves.
