Why does it hurt  me so
With every whim
You come and go
It hurts deep inside
Knowing I’m doing everything.
To keep you by my side
I tried to make you laugh
To give you joy
To give you pleasure
Instead, I get nothing
And I am not sure

I feel it deep in my core
