Love, that old snake,
comes to thaw my heart
with its honey-sweet kisses.
I light a fire to keep it away

I like the abstract yet practical use of metaphor in this. Makes for unique and original art. Very dense, compound, and concise to interpretation and semantics. Also, a bit of duality and balance of principle in there, when you consider the title along with the content of the poem, on an emotional and moral scale. Makes for some cool suggestions.
